MADE IN THE SHADE

These pictures were taken in late February and early March in St. George and things are already looking lush. Kent longs for the vegetation and greenery of the East, and is constantly adding more perennials, bulbs, small bushes and trees to give it the forested look.

It seems a little ironic posting them in July when it has been hovering near 110 all week! But, with our large mature trees, it really is much cooler than the rest of the neighborhood. We have been eating fresh peaches, lot of cherry tomatoes, onions, etc. The ward calls our house the Parkinson Glen or PARKinson park, etc. Kent really does know how to make the desert bloom.
