Nicole had promised herself that she would buy a new car when she finished her Registered Nursing. Her 2002 Saturn was a cute little car and had been great for her as a college car. Adam said it was "tupperware on wheels" and that did help the door dings and college parking lot craziness. She sold it for $3,000 and put that down on her new car, with no co-signer this time. You can see the wrap on her fingers. This is a couple of days before that injury turned to a staph infection. She bought the car the night before she was admitted to the hospital and didn't get to drive it again for three weeks! Adam picked it up from the hospital parking lot and kept it in his garage, got the windows tinted, etc.
